Notion Grant

Asking our community “How can we help?”

The Notion Design for Purpose grant supports innovative and purpose-driven Missouri or Greater St. Louis metropolitan area nonprofits to advance their mission
with creative and strategic development services.

The application window is currently closed.

We support organizations whose mission
is to grow our shared community, but who may not have the marketing resources to bring that mission
to life.

We believe that strategic creative counsel and high-quality visual communications will help drive growth and aid in enabling lasting change.

Frequently asked questions

Who is eligible?

Nonprofit organizations that are registered in the state of Missouri or Illinois as a part of the Greater St. Louis region with 501(c)(3) status.

What types of organizations should apply?

We welcome local and regional nonprofits of any focus area to apply, but we strongly consider organizations who support education, health and wellness, children and families or underserved populations in our community.

When will the grant open?

The grant application is currently closed, and we have selected a nonprofit to serve in 2026. Please check back or inquire via email to DesignForPurpose@notionpartners.com.

What does the selection process look like?

After reviewing all applications, Notion will choose semifinalists to give a live pitch (in person or virtual) on how their organization would benefit from our professional services. We’ll provide guidelines for the live pitch and give finalists 10 business days to prepare. Once we’ve heard from each finalist, we will award one winner.

How much creative support will the winner receive?

Much like for our for-profit client projects, Notion will curate a team to support the awarded nonprofit’s creative needs. The team will collectively provide approximately 300 hours of time to help advance the organization’s mission through creative strategy and design.

It could be for a brand enhancement and new materials, a marketing campaign, event theming and collateral or a presentation series. The opportunities are endless, and we’re eager to explore with you.

We will use our experience and expertise to determine the best way to support the applicant’s creative challenge and collaborate with the awarded organization to fine-tune the plan and provide a detailed scope of work agreement of our services.
